 I must never leave my phone upstairs....

Artimas has proven to me tonight, that I shouldn’t leave my phone upstairs anymore at feeding time. Tonight she decided that it was time to play "tag" instead of cuddle and play on the bed. So after about 30 mins of this game, I put her feeding container in her tank, with the lid off, and dropped a pinky into it. Artimas being in a smartass mood that she was in, just circled her feeding container. Well I got tired of that after 15 mins and picked her up and guided her to where she wanted to go. The little monster wrapped the lower half of her body around my hand and wouldn’t release while the upper half was in the container eating the pinky. No matter what I did, she wouldn’t let go, so I put in the second pinky (both were medium size, she is now on large, pet store error....don’t ask!!!) in, and she ate that too. After she had swallowed that one and I could feel the first one go through her body (creepy feeling) she finally released me. Needless to say I didn’t have my phone on me to take pics of our first unplanned hand feeding. L.ROY YOU FORGOT TO TELL ME ABOUT THE FEELING OF FOOD GOING THROUGH THE BODY!!!! LOL!!! Thanks to Artimas I am now aware...........

You have fallen victim to Murphy’s Law of Pet Photography: the more interesting the shot the further away the camera is! This rule also applies to wild life and children.

a little constriction never hurt anybody.
ofcourse a big constriction is mucho different and very dangerous.
i do not recommend the hand feeding large boids or venomous.
one time i was handfeeding about a 4 ft B.c.c., and well, i was picking teeth out of my hand for 3 days.

Don’t worry teacher I won’t be . It just startled me how it felt and for some reason Artimas had the need to share it with me. I am still kicking myself in the for not having my phone on me to take pics...... you would have been proud teacher.
