Meet my little Mo! Here are some pics of my little Mo. He’s about 18", and just shed about 10 days after these pics were taken. He’s wild caught (about a month ago) when I saved him from the ravages of a backhoe. I had to laugh because the Backhoe operator’s assistant was standing next to me as I practically leaped into the hole when I saw the little black and white fella squirming his way into the bottom of the pit, about to be covered with rocks, glass, metal and other garbage. When I picked up this little guy with my bare hands, the guy was terrified that I might drop it and it would crawl over and kill him for sure. It made me feel good to ’educate’ another ignorant person on the beauty of these wonderful creatures. He especially liked the fact that if he was to find one of these on his property, it could actually help him with his rattlesnake problem.
Anyway here s/he is:

Meet my little Mo! Mo is a beautiful Cali!
These little snakes make great pets. Mine is a save from the cat. I had considered releasing her back into the wild, but she has adjusted to captivity so well, and there are so many cats out there...
