Put him in a small container with wet paper towels and leave him in that for over night. Put in the container with him a rough rock which he can scrape his head on to help get the shed off. How snakes start the removal of their old skin is by finding a rough object they can snag the skin on, starting at their mouths, and then crawling out of the old skin like a lady peeling down a nylon stocking, so the old skin gets turned inside out.
