 Help

My arizona mountain kingsnake has been very active lately. I’m hopefully/probably being paranoid but I wanted to check if its normal.
Her last shed was in 3 pieces, but I’v taken off all the remaining bits a few weeks ago. Is there anyway that too high humidity or too high temperatures caused her incomplete shed?
Thanks for answering my two questions.

Not enough humidity is more likely the cause. Give her a plastic container, like a cottage cheese or Glad container full of moist sphagnum moss.

Here is my Cali king with her moss hide. I bury it partially in the bedding and cover it with a piece of bark. It has a hole near the top on either end. The moss, called orchid moss, which is obtainable from a garden center, and is soft and nice, is the best.

Temperatures between 65 for a low at night, and up to 75 during the day, with a hot spot somewhere in the tank that stays in the 80’s works good for my pyros and other temperate climate snakes. Also they always have a big ceramic water bowl that they can soak in and on hot days they often will do just that. Or they will coil up around the bowl because it is cool.
