Well I have been offered a sonoran mountain king snake for free!!
It is the runt of a litter only eating small geckos so it will be hard to raise him for a while but I know what Im doing.
I’ll post pics if I get it.

As long as he is eating, whether it is lizards or mice, he will prosper.

I had a pair of very small pyros who would only eat about a third as often as my other four pyros. My partner called them my colorful earthworms! LOL! I raised them for a year on pinkies and fence lizards, but they were never going to attain breedable size, so I sold them to my friend John, after fully disclosing their sporadic feeding history and giving him the option of returning them if it didnt work out. But they are actually eating for him, which is great.

Are you two breeders?
Ive toyed around with the idea, but there really isn’t much market for snakes in this are, but it would be really satisfying to accomplish some breeding.
I would sell the babies but probably wouldn’t be trying to turn a profit, just to pay for feeding and housing my collection.

I am a breeder but I would not really plan on breeding it for a while and to have it more as a pet till later when it’s big, but in the long run I would love to breed it.
