Can a kingsnake eat too much? I feed my Cali king 3 fuzzies on monday and 2-3 on friday till he stops eatin, he never regurgitates or anything, hes too small for small mice though, is there such thing as over feeding if he doesnt regurgitate the food?

Can a kingsnake eat too much? This is a debatable subject. Some keepers would call this power feeding, others will say they wouldn’t eat them unless they’re hungry. I tend to lean more towards the later, as long as they’re given temps to digest everything properly (which it sounds like yours does) and not getting obese, I don’t see a problem with feeding a snake what ever it will eat in a sitting. Many newer keepers tend to underfeed their snakes to begin with by offering prey that is too small. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen someone post about having an aggressive snake and then post something like....Its 30" long and I feed him 2 fuzzies a week. They’re starving their snakes and that’s what makes them aggressive. ;)

Can a kingsnake eat too much? today he ate 3 no hesitation, everytime he ate one hed come up to the glass flicking his tongue and rattling his tail waiting for another and would eat it immediately...he seemed like he wanted more but i refuse to feed him 4, is this normal?
on a side note i fed my cornsnake in the same tub earlier so he might be smelling him too

Can a kingsnake eat too much? It’s normal for kings to be pigs. I believe, noone feeds them in the wild, so they eat what they want. They know what they can handle, so I wouldn’t worry.
