recently my kimg snake got out of its tub and got into my furnace. I found him but he has very rough/dry/crackled scales. They are really messed up. I have been soaking him in betadime sollution with water. It seems to be working kind of. I need some opions. Thank you for reading this

I’d say just keep doing what you’re doing to prevent infection. The damage is already done, so your really only treating the burn. You probably won’t see a real difference till he starts shedding the dried scales and starts healing. Depending on how bad the burn is, it may take a few sheds till it clears to be barely noticeable again. Just give him a moist hide or something similar to make those sheds as easy as possible.
