Aberrant? My California Kingsnake, who needs a name btw, changes colors in different lighting. She’s an albino striped/spotted cali, but when we’re outside taking advantage of the summer heat, (her cage gets cold on occasion due to air conditioning) she looks purple and light orange. When we’re inside, she looks pink with yellow markings. Could she be aberrant? Or am i mixing up definitions again?

Aberrant? I am not sure about the definition for the morph itself, but I have an albino aberrant Cali King. My king tends to change colors as well when it comes to different lighting just like how you described it. So I am guessing you have the right morph. I named my aberrant Aurora due to the color changes. Maybe you can name your snake the same thing or something along those lines. I personally hate plain names, but that just me. Well I hope I helped out, and good luck.

Aberrant? Aberrant means different from the norm. For snakes its usually used to describe a snake that has pattern variations from "typical" wild specimens. Since Cali Kings are usually either banded or striped, one that has spotting would be considered an aberrant, even though they can be found in the wild like this. So yours would be and aberrant albino Cali. ;)
