 How did that one KD breed in a zoo with no male at all?

Two questions"
how did some KD at some zoo breed with out any male ever present?

and two..

i read in some post that theres a law that KD are property of the world so no one can own one what makes zoos different?
im sure EXPERIENCED herp heepers could keep them in the same if not better conditions then zoos

Breeding without a male is possible in some animals, mostly reptiles. Even though there was no sperm to fertilize the egg, there can be other factors that can actually stimulate the egg into development without the presence of any other sex cells. Usually they can induce it in labs using electricity, but it has happened randomly through nature also. It’s rare, but pretty cool.

As for the second question, I have no idea, sorry.
