wow, this is getting very pointless..... ok....

1. you cant adopt a komodo that website is a fake, no zoo would let random people adopt a komodo. you would need permits and if you did "adopt" one you would have a bunch of wildlife centres and conservationests checking if you had the proper vacinities to keep the komodo in and they would be checking on how good you are doing money wise, if you have no money you cant feed a hungrey komodo. you would literally go broke owning a komodo within a week, you would need a rich person to give you tons of money to take care of it, you would need to keep up to date with permits and vet checkups which wouldnt be easy. also if it somehow escapes can kills of mames somebody your going to jail and losing everything you own, you would have animal conservationests at your door every week to see if your enclosure meets the specific regalations and they would be checking on how the komodo is doing.

you would go mental with all this before you have even had the komodo for a week. so this being said YOU CANNOT ADOPT OR OWN A KOMODO DRAGON UNLESS YOU OWN A ZOO! you cant own one EVER and you NEVER will

im not sure, but i think that by adopting the lizard you just send $$ to support it. same with when i read somewhere they wanted you to adopt a gorrilla. they dont want you to take it home .

anyway, my water dragon would eat it .

Alot of zoos and rehab centers allow you to "adopt" the animals, but all you do is pledge to send x amount of money each month to help support it. In return you get things like a newsletter or discounts on tickets and so on. You do not actually bring the animals home. My daughter’s class "adopted" a polar bear cub two years ago. So now i send a check once a year and we get a newsletter, pictures, and a t-shirt in return for the "adoption". She loves the idea of helping to support him and whatnot, but you definitely don’t bring the bear home.

Just because you’re adopting an animal doesn’t mean that you have to keep it at your house. You can adopt whales, tigers, pandas, almost any kind of animal you want to, you can adopt. When you adopt an exotic animal, most the time you have to pay so much money per month to go towards food, vet bills, etc. And plus, you would not be the only person adopting that one animal. And I assure you that website is 100% real. I have visited it before. It’s the Smithsonian Zoo - you can get brochures and stuff about it in the mail.

I adopted my local zoo’s monitor lizard a long time ago. I sent money to the zoo and in return, received photos, stickers, etc.

Ya I saw that at the zoo close to me, There is an adopt an animal on all the animals. You don’t get the animal just pics and stuff, but the money helps in conservation on that animal.
