What do I do??!!!
They developed spots!!! Yellow spots... i think its a fungus.... what do I do!?!?!!?!?!
Should I be worried? Then Shorty went to eat a soda can and it cut off the tip of her tongue!!!
No blood or infection yet but Im so worried she wont be able to eat!!! I tried to feed them but Shady was the only one interested. He is such a piggy. Oh and I feed them fresh lizards daily. I know it may sound somewhat cannibalistic and such being that they are both lizards but these lizards are completely different species oh and they are gut loaded! Besides its the only thing my Komodos will eat
On a happy note they are both still getting along!!
Let me know what you think about Shorty’s tongue and not eating, and both of their yellow spotted-ness |

Thats why Shorty wouldnt eat them!!! She didnt want to eat her babies! The dad could obviously care less.... he was hungry! ha ha  Poor babies RIP
The next batch I will have to raise and sell them... anybody want a hatchling?? So now what do I feed them? The female has the tongue problem (shorty) and I will take her to the vet and see what they say. But the last visit went way wrong. well.... long story short..... the vet is missing 4 fingers..... The yellow spots appeared last week! |

my last komodo had purple fungal spots, but i think thats cause he was rolling around a mushroom patch. I treated it with a nice layer of mud ointment until the spots were nicely covered. Don’t see anymore spots? Well there all cured! |

mushroom head!! fungus head!! fungi brain!! funky brain!! monkey brain!! monkey brains are suppose to be good! there is a country somewhere that in the restaraunt they have these table, with holes in the middle and they open and close (the holes) and thats where you put the monkey...in the hole..with his head sticking out of the hole (can you picture it...). they give you these little hammers and you hit the monkey on the head, while hes squirming around until.....well, you can imagine.... anyways, i know this because i saw it on tv. let me see...it was one of those movies where they show clips of all the horror that has been shown. its really old, called "Terror in the aisles". made back in the 70s. real bad filming...probly a B rated or something... but, yeah.......Monkey brains! i have no idea why i thought of that.... |
