congrats on the babies, don’t feed them to your bigger komodos. Also you might want to give them purp;e calci-sand coated leperachuans. (just a suggestion)

I am against purple calci-sand, I know everybody here swears by the stuff, but I think it has too many risks... that and purple SUCKS

They were separated from their parents before hatching adn will never know their real mami and papi

I coat mi leprachauns with pixie dust anyway. I heard its better then the purple calci-sand... more expensive but im willing to pay for whats best :D

I did tons of research, I just didnt know pixie dust contained rainbow residue. I read that it was Okay for them.

yeah, but Im thinking of switching to a 30 gallon tall.... is that okay?

im thinking a 40 tall would be overwhelming to them. they like tight crampd places, like a ten gallon or a hat! as long as you can cram a few leperachons in there with him.

a 30 gallon would be too huge you need to keep them in a ten gallon tank or a tupperware container. Coolwhip bowls work nicely.

those have white frost, a killer of k0modos.

i prefer .5 half-gallon paper toats with pyrple kalcisand as substrate.
it works the best, holds a ton of humidity,is very eco friendly,and best of all, is impaction free with only natural colors!
