#590509 Datrhgecko5 View Profile	WHAT!? I am a gecko person, so I dont really belong here, but, is it LEGAL to own a KOMODO DRAGON IN THE U.S.!? THEYRE FRICKIN’ HUGE! (i know it all depends on the city laws and now, especially in ohio, due to a new law, state laws, but...would the gov’t allow it?) Do they show any, like, affection? are they Big friendly giants, or are they not friendly, cause they surely dont seem to friendly, being their size a major factor. you dont have to answer this. I was just curious, because I was reading Reptiles and Amphibians for Dummies (Patricia Bartlett) and she has a section in there about owning a komodo, and I was like "WHAT!?" so...are they best left alone at the zoo...or back at home, or are they "okay" pets?

If you’ve ever seen the size of a Komodo dragon you would see that it is untameable!!! There mouths alone have bacteria inside them that could kill someone should it get into a patch of open skin.
