how big do lacertas get? and are they easy to handle. i m considering a new lizard. i am experienced.

Lacertas are small to medium sized lizards (depending on species) and not much for handling

Gallotia stehlini is the biggest recent lacerta. Male( much bigger then female) gas SVL about 19-23cm, + 40-45 cm a tail
