I won’t tell you that I removed.

People have asked me why that post was here as long as it was. There were several reasons why it lasted that long.

1. Because it was on the old message system which means I had to remove posts and threads manually. So call it laziness.

2. JT was the first member to ever be banned so it was like a historical thread for me.

I did pay the price on removing it. Because of how long and how many post that thread had it took up a lot of resources deleting them all from the database, at the same time I been working on some database restructuring and accidently indexed the wrong table in the database which caused the server to crash out last night.

HerpGirl...we can always find you another topic to argue.

So the post’s gone...oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

So did the post break the record of being the longest? LOL

I thought the post was kind of a good advertisement to the Legless lizard forum. There were only like 3 threads here at the begining of the spring.

I had a lot of complaints on that thread. I seen it popping up so much that I became used to seeing it and stopped reading it myself. I think it was over 750 posts long.

It’s actuallly kind of strange not seeing that thread anymore.

I know, Unfortunately part of the new upgrades require me to remove posts that were removed due to some type of abuse. So it is completely removed from the database. However when you see the amount of speed we gain through the site in the next week or two I think we will forget about that thread a little bit.

*sniff,sniff* I haven’t been on in a while, I get on and my legless lizard post is gone, how sad, it was kinda my pride and joy having one of the longest forums. Oh well, I’m working as a reptile tech for a local exotic veterenarian, so hopefully i’ll be able to put on some good posts, also feel free to ask me any questions any of you might have.
