*****unrelated but still good*******

Ok well on craigslist I saw an ADD about Kenyan sand boas Breeder . He was asking $40 each and were HET for Amy. I asked I will give you $20 for each and he said yes so then I couldn’t go over to his house so he came over and He ended up selling them for only $10 each......WOW. I was like I will get Three. So I ended up getting Three babies for only $30. I will post picks of these new additions tomorrow or later on today.


Oh and I also bought a Boaphill rack system of I think 6 32q box capacity so I have plenty of room for these babies. I also got the rack at a bargain for only $150.

My geckos are doing fine and I don’t think they are sick. They do eat still and they look healthy.

Well i just wanted to share this new info.

thanks. Yeah I was going to get a charcoal corn snake for $20 and i even went to their house but she never opened,that was the day before. Good thing she didn’t open because i wouldn’t be able to get these babes.
Its like it was meant to be.....

yeah the rack system had plenty of cages left like 3 cages left so like 1 for each, but now i am housing them in a 15Q rubber maid container so i could monitor them better.I will later move them to the bigger cages in the boaphill when they get bigger.

Shadow X, I think you mean anery, since they are het that means if bred to an anery they have the potentional to make black and white babies or Anerythristic, anery for short. There is a picture of one!

yes they are very handleable. They are more handleable than any other snake I have owned,Milk snake,king snake,ball python and a hognose snake. They are very calmed and don’t get more than 3 feet and thats just the female. The males get from 18-24 inches.

thanks to everyone who has posted a comment and I do mean AMY. I think the guy put a "m" instead of a "N" on the add. Yeah I always wanted one but never got around to it till now. They are great feeders too I barely went to the store and bought some pinkeyes that were a ripoff the little little ones not the rat pinkeyes the mice pinkeyes.....They were .79 cents each. They ate them right up so quick. I thought i might of had to wait a couple of days but they ate them quick.

I do know i got at least 1.1.1. I know the smallest is the guy because of small spurs and a bulge and the female has like a skinny tail after the vents and is 4 grams bigger the the "male" and 1 i don’ t know what it is, I am thinking a female. I still have to wait I think 2 and 1/2 years till breeding live birth snakes,not eggs ,Birth since its a boa.

well if you have further comments please tell.

It is very good that they ate for you already. It took mine about 2 weeks to start, but once she started she has never stopped! She is my one and only snake. I would like a ball but I might just stick with the kenyans. I have been bit once and it was right before I fed her, so I had the smell on me.

I am not sure then. I would contact the guy you bought them off of and ask. I have never heard of that before.

Breeding age is between 2 and 3 years, not sure on that either.

thanks people. Yeah the are really good snakes I just fed them another pinkey today and they all ate theirs. Now thats amazing!!!!I wanted to buy mice to breed for food but my dad wont let me cuss he said they will stink up the house, But i don’t think 1 male and 2 females will do much harm. The pinkeys are sorta expensive .80 each and so far i have fed them 2 each in less than 1 week so i want to keep the cost down by breeding mice for food.

ask questions if any?
