Ah man...
Now...I know they are similar, but I’m experienced enough to know the difference. And I think some of you will agree that once you’ve seen banded’s compared to leos, it’s easy to tell what you’re looking at...and right away I knew I was looking at a, most likely Tremper, albino leopard gecko...on coconut fiber...with a bunch of moss...and right next to him/her, were other babies labeled as leopard geckos that looked exactly like him/her...$40 for this one. I’m wondering who is dumb enough to not realize this. I would have bought the baby, but 1) I left my money at home (stupid me) and 2) I guess I don’t want to give Petco my money if they’re going to be dumb...I’m calling them later today to see what’s up with that whole thing. That poor little baby...his eyes were a little gooey. Not too bad, but it’s still not good. I’m wondering how long they’ve had him. It couldn’t have been too long. He’s such a tiny little guy, but he’s not looking too good and the thought of someone buying him thinking he’s a banded gecko is killing me. I’m also going to point out that they are buying/selling baby geckos that are way to young AND the sand issue...I know I can’t stop them from selling sand but all of the sand products they have clearly state DO NOT keep baby leopard geckos on sand...which is what they are doing. Sad thing is, I’m 15...and they probably won’t listen to me because apparently some people seem to think knowledge comes from age...I might have to make myself sound older just to get my point across...sad... Ok just had to vent... |
