Hrm... I don’t know what happened, but my post didn’t post. =/
Sorry if this post repeats. ^^’

If you could also possibly tell me if they have any morphs to them, that’d be awsome! I personally think that Mimi is a Tangerine. Not 100% sure though. ^^’

I would say that Mimiru is a high yellow, with the genetics for carrot tail. Suzaku is a normal, both are pretty and healthy.

Carrot tail is line breed. Line breeding is taking a male and female that have say carrot tails, breeding them together. Then taking their off spring that has the most orange in their tail and breeding them together, those babies should have more of a carrot tail then their grandparents.

Oh, okay. I think I get it. Line breeding you say?

So let’s say I do get a carrot tail that has...25% of orange on it’s tail and I mate him with Mimiru, the baby(babies), should have let’s say maybe 30% carrot tail or more then?

Some of the babies will have more carrot tail then the parents. Others will have less, or no carrot tail at all.

This is a bump for Shutterstud. ^.~

Also, if you notice, in the very first pic with Mimi, she’s gravid, you can so see her eggs. xD

I still kind of think she’s a Tangerine though, her base color is orange than yellow after she sheds. =/

Oh, and I’ll be getting pictures of their tanks on here once I get the pics onto the laptop. ^^ There will also be a new Leo too. ^-^

Haha, I was lucky I got them both. ;x I didn’t want babies because I though I may kill one, and my aunt said I was getting 2 for christmas, then she saw that they were $50 each and was all "Holy crap!" XD I thought for sure I was only getting one. ;x

0.0’ I er...boiled my first few eggs by accident.... -.-
I have it down now though! These last few clutches have been doing pretty darn well. =D

I’m sure they’ll hatch nicely. =) Just don’t have it near 90, trust me. Heh... ^^’

Say, what do you think Mimi’s morph is?

I don’t know my morphs at all yet. Ask Active of scales4all or hacksaw! They are the more knowledgeable ones. I got Tinker three weeks ago and ended up with eggs.
