 Why not sand??

i’ve had my leos in sand for 16 months and nothing bad, should i change the substrate?

because your leo could eat some of it and become impacted and it could die and yea i would change if i was you. i use reptile carpet and that is good you can also use paper towel.

i had mine on sand a few years ago when i got my first one it was fine for months and then one day i found it dead had a prolapse from eating the sand so i now use reptile carpet i wont use out else i lernt my lesson it wasnt nice

yeah I would get the sand out of there ASAP. you can use something like repti carpet or shelf liner. I like the shelf liner because its really cheap, they have it everywhere and its easy to clean. Thanks

Deff get the sand out. When I first got my leos, I had sand too, but then I came here so I could learn more form the expierenced.

Also tile works too. ^.~

I use repti carpet though. =D ((For now atleast. >.> =D))
