 Help claw fallen off

hi today my leo shead and it has problems sheading. it sheads but it leaves old shead on its claw still so i tried to rub it off by dipping her in water then rub the old skin but as i did that the claw fell of and started to bleed .it looks real saw she finds it hard to walk around she sort of limps. id appreciate any help on how to heal it if u can and how to prevent this in the future thanks rob

Oh my, that is horrid!

I surely wish I could help, but have no knowledge in that. =( Someone here will though, am sure. ^.~!

put some neosporn without pain relief on it and keep an eye on it for a couple days, if it heals up then she will be fine if it does get infected u might to to find a vet so they can help u out

I had that carpet and my one gecko lost her one nail.
what i did was took some Hydrogen Peroxide and just dabed some on the we little toe
then waited till it bubbled and then dabed in water.
the peroxide kills germs that are on the wound.
then put her on paper towels just cuase i never used the carpet again
and also put neosporim on it to heal.. and it worked :)

if you mist there humid hut all the time usually they shed really well.
but sometimes i get shed on toes what i use is a cotton swab (Q-tip ) and i usually just dab the water on the Q-tip untill it just slides off just be carful about hurting there lovely nails .

thanks every 1 she is now healing up nicely no more limping but il try and find some of the items listed. Also thanks for the tip matey i shal try that 1 on her next shed.
