Really dry skin, not from shed

I have an elderly gecko, she’s about 12 or 13 now and She has really dry skin around her nose and under her eyes. It isn’t from unshed shed or not having a humid hut. She spends most of her time on the damp moss but nothing seems to help. I can’t find any information anywhere on the web explaining what it could be. She’s even getting a little scab where it’s that dry. She isn’t dehydrated and other than the dry skin seems pretty healthy. It wouldn’t be such a concern to me if 1) she wasnt so old (its happened before (a long time ago) and it just went away) 2) the little scab 3) it’s blocking one of her nostrils and 4) her eye lower eye lids are dry. After taking a damp soft pad to her dry places like I used to it just seemed to get worse so I don’t want to try that again just in case.
Has this happened to any one else? I’ve had geckos for well over 10 years, my oldest gecko being 18 right now but this one little girl always ends up just baffling me. She has the weirdest habbits and ailments.
Any advice? Someone suggested Vitamin E but that doesn’t seem like a good idea at all
Just wondering, Thanks
I’ll try to take and post pictures tomorrow
