Home made hides for dummies:
These are the hides you will learn to make. I had this container and i converted it into a humid hide for hatchlings (clear isnt the best)
I cut out i peice of paper as a stencel for the door:
stuck it on and traced it wth sharpy.
And used a wood burner to cut it out smoothly. (do tis outside, watch ou for the fumes)
And there you have a nice humid hide. Here is how to make a dry/cool hide: Empty mushroom container (cleaned out well)
just cut out a door and barely melt the edges with a lighter:
