 Natural Viv?

I am a noob here... but i do have some reptile experience and had a few questions about leo’s before I dive in.
Well I currently have a male panther chameleon and three bearded dragons.

I am looking to start a harem of 3 or 4 female leo’s in a 40 long? or 50 short i really don’t know it is one of the critter cages.
One thing i want from my leo viv is a naturalistic looking set up with live plants. Now I know that the leo’s have alot of their natural instincts bread out and they are domesticated pets. I was just at the tampa international reptile shown and saw some very nice natural looking back drops and furniture that are made out of a foam but are very sturdy and have a rough surface and resemble rock.

Does anyone keep their leopards in a natural looking Viv, if so can you post pictures. I have my dragons in a custom wooden box with a tile floor and would like one more natural looking environment.

Also as for multiple hides I am planning two moist hides and four or five dry hides using the artifical rock and PVC pipe on the interior of the rocks, does any one have experience with this method?

Thanks and sorry for rambling on

I am in the proccess of making a natural looking cage too. I got a lot of inspiration from this site here. The rocks are relatively easy to make and they are extremely realistic.
I am making a cage the size of a 55 gallon tank for my lil albino and that site was the biggest help.
Hope it helps you.

Sounds fun.

Many ownrs having leos will keep live-air plants in their vivs, witha fake rock background they will glue/silicon the plants onto the background making it look like a cliff edge or a rock fall of plants and such scattered all over.

But thats as much as i know.

Just a thing about your hides, make sure each hide is large enough to hold at least 2 adults!

Thanks for the help I was also concerned about hide size? What is a good size to hold two adults? I was thinking of using PVC piping 2 inches in diameter and 8-12 inches long each will this be acceptable I know most people use tupperwear for hides.

for the hides, as long as its double the length of one gecko, and double the height of one gecko...it should be fine.

my friend has a 8 inch long, 6 inch tall and 6 inch wide, now in this he has 4 females in one tank, and they all manage to squeeze in, but over time they all started using their own individual hides. so in the end he had 8 hides, but only 4 got used cuz they only used one for themselves. but i dunno it depends ON the geckos themselves.
