OT - cute baby rats!

I was going to breed these for feeders, but they are just too darn cute! Out of 2 moms that gave bith, I have a total of 28 babies!
Here is the older litter of babies. They are a week old in this picture (taken yesterday)

Don’t worry, that’s milk on that babies’ nose :)

Here is one from the younger litter with some pretty interesting markings.

In OTHER news...
One of my weanling ASF rats were being very... strange. He kept annoying the dad, messing with his mouth, yet the dad didn’t have anything. It was VERY cute. I wish I could have gotten a better picture than this, sadly my camera wouldn’t cooperate.

AL55, you knowww you love ’em! Rats are awesome. I might keep one or two for future breeding/pets. I ADORE the blue (grey) ones, and to my surprise I got 12 of them! I think I may have gotten dumbos as well. How in the world did that happen?! lol. I’ll get pictures of them when they get a little bit older, they’ll just get cuter and cuter!

Yes, you are right, they are smelly smelly animals lol.
I have a trick ;)
Pine pellets for bedding. Eliminates smell. I have 32 rats in my bedroom right now (not including my sfrican soft-furs, if you include them it’s 40) and I can hardly smell them.

love your rat babies.
they are the cutest.
and i had stinky ferrets in my room for years, i could never smell them, unless i had been gone.
but everyone else could apparently...
