 Can someone please help Sid?



This is Sid. When we got him we were told he was an albino leopard But after getting another leopard minus the albino we noticed the tails were very different. Since were are new to this we were wondering if this was something normal or if Sid was actually a different breed than a leopard Gecko.

Sid is an (Albino) Leopard Gecko. He has had his tail dislodged though, meaning he got very afraid of something and dropped it or someone pulled on it or worse. The tail will grow back fully in about 40 days after the point it was dislodged. it is looking good so far so just make sure your keeping his bugs gutloaded and or dusted with calcium and he should be fine and looking like the other gecko soon enough ^.^

thanks. his tail was like that when we got him so i guess his tail will be back to normal in awhile.

his tail will always look like that

it never grows back to looking normal it will always look bulbous like that
but it is normal when they have dropped their tails
