Used uvb on my leo
All of this I found to be true in the past few months that I started using them. The main thing that drew my attention was the fact that they were more active, and I don’t know if this had anything to do with it, but one of them was not as picky of an eater as before. I guess I just wanted to put it out there, that if you want to, you should try it. If cost is the issue, then I’d avoid getting anything like a mvb. Although, I don’t think I’d recommend that since its a lot for a reptile that will bask only a little bit under it. I’d go with simple high output fluorescent uvb. The Reptisun 10.0s are good (as I have tried them in the past), but as I wrote last time, I ended up using Zilla Desert 50s for my leo setups because they had been recommended. I am always skeptical about trying new things but I was pleasantly surprised. I will try to look for some of the links in other forums where people talk about positive outcomes of uvb on leopard geckos. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone whose used uvb for a leos and had them suffer MBD. Hmm.. |
