 New owner!!

hi all! i just recently purchased a leopard gecko, a female i think. and i absolutely love her! the problem is that i bought it from a family who used this blue silica sand as a substrate. they said they had her for about 2 months and i assume they used that material the whole time. I’m just worried that she might be sick or have some internal damage. is there anything i can do to make sure that she is 100% fine?

Wow congrats is it your first?I have 2 Jamie and Ajax what did you name her?
To make sure she’s good, you could go to the vet but i suppose that if she’s going to the bathroom well and eating (is she?) then she’s fine
You should only worry if she stops going poopie and stops eating

She should be fine if it was only 2 months, many people keep there leo’s on sand for there hole life. It is pretty rare for your leo to get impacted if it lives on thin sand(:

good luck!!!!
