 New Owner Looking for advice

Hi guys! I am a first time owner and have had my guy "Geeky" for a week. The fellow at the pet store told me Leos are great, calm pets and to hold mine for 15 min every day so he would be calm around me and eventually sit on my shoulder. However he wriggles and tries to bite so I don’t want to stress him. Any advice?

ya LEAVE him/her alone let them get settle in and get used to ur hand being in there for changin water feeding and what not but u shouldnt really try and handle them u should wait

ya a week or 2 is good , and i liek to get them and hold my herpz in my hadnle and hold them toa baskin spot so they relax a bit in ur hand and get to know its a safe nice place, cause they love heat, but leos hate bright light so if u going to do that do it on a red light
