 MY Females attacked each other

my females attacked each other and it was extremely horrible. the bigger one was chasing the little all over the cage she even put the little ones head in her mouth the second i saw this i ripped the little one out of the cage and put her in a 10 or 15 gallon. Now my little has lost its tail. IS IT NORMAL FOR FEMALES TO FIGHT?????

how big was the size defference? like kyguylal said, you souldn’t put to different sized leos together, the big one was probably trying to eat the little one.

the little leo needs to be on paper towel substrate and you need to change it often (like every other day) you must keep the cage clean clean clean so the tail doesn’t get infected. you can put polysporin or neosporin on the tail.
