 Juvenile Bearded Dragon for adoption

I have a juvenile bearded dragon that I need to let go up for adoption. He was given to me as a "rescue" because the person had too many other animals, and not enough time for him. He was born Sept. 1, 2007, so he is app. 5 months old. He’s a normal x sandfire. Sweet guy, very fat! I have the breeder information at hand as to where he came from. He’s been with me for a little while now, and now that he is eating good, I want to adopt him out to someone that will take good care of him. He’s about 8 inches long right now, not including a small tail nip. A little small for his age, but he was kept in a 10 gallon prior to when I got him, and in the past month since i have had him, he has grown almost 1 1/2 inches! His previous owner had him on sand, so we’ve cleaned him out a bit to make sure he wasn’t going to get impacted, and since then he has been living on newspaper and repticarpet in a temp. 50 gallon tank.

Adoption fee will be $75 plus s/h. The pictures that I have of him are from the previous owner, so if you want updated pictures of him, please let me know. HE IS NOT ON SAND CURRENTLY!!! If you send me a message on here telling me that you PMed me with your email or something, I will check my PM’s and get back to you shortly. Thank you!

 Juvenile Bearded Dragon for adoption

Hi Sasim8800,

I have had Bearded Dragons for over 20 years. I have started my 8 year old off as a dragon keeper as well
we have a very large housing facility that takes up a whole wall in her room. It is constructed of a hard plastic base with screen panels we have basking lamps & uva/uvb lighting & a very clean envoirnment basking & hiding/shade provided also we have always taken ours outside at a minimum of 10 minutes per day for real sunshine. The enclosure is much larger than a 55 gal tank & about 4 feet wide.
Yesterday we lost our 13 year old male to old age. I have found that rescuing & adopting ( I am a vet tech.) is more rewarding than just buying from the pet stores or breeders. Please contact me if you still have your dragon for adoption I am very interested an do not need a cage I also have a dragon play area on my lanai for climbing & afternoon daily direct sunlight. We are still greiving our loss but I think another beardie will fill the void & we would take exceptional care of yours !! I look forward to hearing from you Thank you -
