Yeah, definitely don’t just give up ... you owe the snake that much. Unless there is a chance that it could have gotten outside or unless you have actually found it dead then you still have a live snake somewhere.

He is going to try to get someplace warm, dark, and quiet. Many snakes have been found behind refrigerators and washers/dryers. Check underneath furniture, in drawers, in closets, and in clothes and shoes.

Don’t give up. You owe the snake to find it.

Oh, and you can also tempt him out with pinkies. Some people have taken 2-liters and cut the opening off and inverted it .. then taped it and put a mouse in there. It works as a kind of trap. You can also pour flour in doorways and then you will see if it has been disturbed ... all good ways to tell what room your snake is in.

Snakes can survive outside their enclosure much longer than 3 weeks. I knew someone once who found their snake after a little over a year. You are giving up much too soon, IMO.

And if I remember, you are the one with that snapper cage in your room with no lid, check in there ’cause the lights would make it warm, I’m sorry if this is the wrong person.

Oh, then it’s Reptilover with the snapper in his room with no lid.
Did you check ALL the warm spots?
Sorry if I become annyoing, I just would hate to see a second case of my brother’s cornsnake.
It got out, and we found it it, it got out, and we never even saw a trace of him again.

my king snake escaped and it was out for 4 months and one day about 9 one nite ti just came out from under the couch. and now my corn snake is loose down in my snake room i ran a webcam down into the room and put a mouse in little plastic cage and just keep the cam on and wathc itmy pc is just above the room that i am watching so all i did was put a small nole in floor and ran the coble.

Wow.
That sucks.
But hey, it’s their house, their the ones who are gonna have snakes everywhere when they get back.
YOU wouldn’t mind.
But they’d be begging themselves to have taken you to get locks.
I can promise you, the snakes or at least some of them, WILL get out.
So pu lots of weight on the lids, until you can get some locks.
That’s what my brother did with his cornssnake, and it worked, but then he forgot to put the weight back on the lid one night, and presto chango, no more cornsnake.

my dad is where i get liking herps so much he would take me to this creek when i was little like 3 or 4 and i caught my first snake there it was a baby garter snake anyway my dad wouldnt care if he was in the house he loves reeptiles but my mom doesnt really like snakes but she liked my corn snake but i dont think he will turn up i think he got out cause i have 3 cats and they would of found him by now but if i dont ever find him i hope he got outside so he can have a chance at living

That’s what I hope happened with Pam(my brother’s old cornsnake).
I wish my mom liked reptiles...my dad is just sort of like ’wahetever...’.
I was going to get a spotted turtle, but my dad said, ’why not makew it two?’.
So that was cool.

every year i go to cyprus 4 summer vacation and i caught a huge lizard and broght it to my grandma`s house
it ran away and i searched 4 it 4 a month and i found it under the fridge
my dad moved the fridge 4 us lol
i got it out but i accidently touched something hot and i got a burn on my hand
whayever u do,don`t give up
