Depending on how large the snakes head is, you might want to bend the wires apart a bit in one area so the snake can get in the cage. Once the rat/mouse is in the belly, it won’t be able to "snake" between the bars very easily until the rat/mouse has digested a bit. Don’t go too crazy bending the bars, as rats/mice can fit through tiny openings as well. Just big enough for your snakes HEAD to fit. The body, as you must know, can fit through just about anything the head can... Give it a shot. Let us know what happens. I just came up with the idea off the top of my head. I used to own two Ball Pythons, and I know they like to escape. I have an African Fat-Tailed Gecko now, but I miss Monty and Kama... :( Good Luck... |
