My milk eat live fuzzies but won’t kill it. Is that normal My sinaloan milk will eat a live fuzzy every seven days however it will not kill it first; it just eats it live. Should I prekill it or switch to frozen thawed. I thought he would kill it by coiling it up and such. I’m just worried that the fuzzy may hurt Angus as he eats. any one else have this problem? Or is it normal. Any suggestions would be great.

My milk eat live fuzzies but won’t kill it. Is that normal A snake will always use as little energy as possible whatever it is doing. In their natural life next meal does not occur after another seven days. If the snake feels that the prey animal is so physically weak that constricting it is unecessary, it will nor waste energy on killing it first. This is easy to avoid by either prekill the fuzzy or feed the snake f/t food items.
