 Feeding Question, Please Help!!!

I have a milk snake about 18 to 20 inches long. I just fed him his first live fuzzie, he had no problem killing it but he did not eat it. He ate all the way up to the ears and then spit it out. Should i get a smaller fuzzie?

FYI Fed frozen pinkies before and the fuzzie i hoped he would eat was about an inch long without a tail and a half inch wide.

PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!

try a pinkie, then wait about 5 days and try again.what kind of milk?Remember feed it one that’s the same diameter as your snake, but some milks might dictate to you what size they want.so try a pinkie

so he is eating?.if that is so, they will always act like they are still hungry.don’t worry about it ,just wait about 5 days and feed again.if not, don’t worry, keep trying about every 5 to 7 days.they can go with out food for 2 months.even at that age.I know from experience

alligater is right. a lot of time they will eat the next day. I just got a couple of rescue juvi balls to eat and they did not have a mouse for 3 months. My milk is getting older so I switched him onto a 2 week feeding cycle.

Do not worry yours will take a fuzzy and than an adult mouse soon.

Peace, Mikey
