Looking for opinions on Hondurans as first snake Title says it all! Looking to get my first snake and I’ve been given a crack at some hatchlings coming up later this spring, tangerines, tricolours or maybe even a ghost. :) I’d like to know how they are though before I actually get one.

Looking for opinions on Hondurans as first snake to bad you live to far from me .I would make you a deal.I think they are great, females (mine are) almost between 5 1/2 to 6 ft and males are way smaller 4 ft.they do come in different colors. To me they are just as easy to raise as any other snakes, for I have 7 of them.I hatched out 1 tangerine,1 bi-color tangerine and 2 ghost,My adults are 2 m/f tangerines and a female tri-color.If you want I could use the big fancy names if you want

I think they are a great choice hope you get one

Looking for opinions on Hondurans as first snake I have to agree with Alligater. Any of the kings, milks and corns make great pets. They tend to be fairly docile (although they can be a bit hyper when babies), and since they don’t get huge, they are easy to house and care for.

Looking for opinions on Hondurans as first snake Thanks both of you! I have a local breeder lined up who is producing Hondurans for the first time, and I *love* milks. I’m pretty positive I won’t be restricting myself to just one snake, and the blacks are gorgeous! They can be added to the list with a nice corn morph and the piebald morph ball python :D
