Those are beautiful! I didn’t know you used to have so many...I thought it was just a couple. I have only one...a Nelson’s female. She’s gorgeous...I’ll have to find her a boyfriend :)

Doesn’t feeding them in your hand stress them out? At the pet store I volunteer at you can’t go near any of the snakes while they eat or you’ll most likely get bit.

I don’t think I have but two snakes of mine that won’t eat out of my hand. It all depends on the individual snakes, and the feeders inclinations.

Andesiana are from the Andes Mountains in Columbia, otherwise known as the Andean milk and the celaenops is also known as the New Mexico milk.

There is a trick to it...wait until the snake has the prey in his mouth, then pick them up. I’ve done it and most of the time it doesn’t stress them out. LRoy is an old pro at this, though :)

It doesn’t stress her out like Candy said. I just pick her up, introduce the pinkie, then she bites it, eats it, I give her the second one, bites it, eats it, then I put her down, and she goes in her cave. A very pleasant hand-feeding.
