Is it true?

hi i was looking around for native species in georgia becuase i will be moving there in a couple of weeks and i came across this website that said you are not allowed to have a pet that is native to georgia regardless of it’s origin and morphology is this true and if it is if i get a pueblan milksnake will that be affected by the law thing. plz help

Yep, it’s true. I live in Georgia, and the reptile laws here suck over-all.

Yep, I have three snakes and 1 lizard.
1.0 Desert King
0.1 Nelson’s Milk 1.0 low red Pueblan Milk
0.1(I think) Leo
I got my king like three years ago at a local pet store that used to be here. I knew that owner and he actually took pretty decent care of his reptiles. My Leo I got like a month or two ago from a friend, and both my milks I got from a reptile show, the Dixie Reptile Show to be exact in Birmingham, Albaquerque (Alabama).

lol the pics are pretty cool though. so can i get a pueblan milksnake and it’ll be okay? mainly becuase i’m looking for a good snake to have because my mom doesn’t like going to the petstore like 2 times a week like i do and right now i have a leo i usually get crickets and mealworms from the petstore but she wants the next pet i get that it won’t need get stuff for it all the time but my mom is extremely strict on reptiles (Especially snakes) as pets so i have to reallly convince her for a while to get her into the idea lol

A 32 quart will house a adult Pueblan comfortably. And that’s a good choice of snake if your mom is kinda strict (like mine was) because they don’t get but a little over three feet most of the time. But of course their are exceptions to everything, sometimes they get bigger than normal.
About the constantly going to the pet store for food, buy the food in bulk. That’s what I do. Rodentpro.com you can buy alot of pinks, mice, rats, foul, ect., and it’s all in bulk. But it is a bit pricy sometimes, but your mom will probably help you out so you dont have to go to the pet store 2 times a week. And in the long run it’s actually alot cheaper than going to the pet store. Also, on your Leo, start a mealie colony or just buy a butt load of ’em so it’ll hold you for a while.
Don’t worry about all the questions, I don’t get annoyed that easily, lol. Just pm me if you need have any more questions on the Milk.
