They are born Tri-Colored...and slowly over time (with each shed) they lose their colors and become solid, jet black! They get pretty sizable (4’ - 6’) and have very good dispositions. Here is a Link for more info. One of this species nick-names is: The "Poor-Man’s" Indigo Snake But on the plus side...They are far easier to care for than an actual Eastern Indigo would be!!!
