 Temp question

You have to state what milksnake you are referring to. There are significant differences between a northern subspecies such as the eastern milksnake compared to a southern subspecies such as the Sinaloan milksnake.

 Temp question

Hondurans live in rainforest habitat and RH should be around 60-70. No milksnake should be kept at 20-30 since it never gets that low other than in Arctic zones, not even right smack in central Sahara desert.

 Temp question

Sinaloans originate from the westcoast Mexican mainland and they live at low altitude in river valleys. Night temp can be around 68 to 76F, during daytime 77 to 88 will do fine.

 Temp question

Also, what should the humidity be for a sinaloan milk snake?
i have heard that you dont have to do anything for humidity for sinaloans as long as you dont live somewhere really dry.

 When You’re Questioning Temperatures . . .

Make sure you’re speaking the same "language." Most Europeans--and scientists--use Celsius, and a snake at 25 degrees C. is probably pretty comfortable whereas one at 25 F. has probably expired . . .

There are probably a couple of history lessons in this one, including an observation on why "Fahrenheit-speak" is still prevalent in the Good Ol’ U.S.A. but they generally illustrate human stubbornness and intransigence as much as anything.
