Very Active After Shed My pueblan is very active and has been all day n night ever since he’s finished the last of his shed. Should I still wait a week to feed him? He hasnt eating in over 3 weeks.

Very Active After Shed sometimes they eat right after they shed,if you want to try, you can.If it doesn’t eat, wait a couple of days and try again.I have always waited a couple of days up to a week

Very Active After Shed My Black Milk Snake, Onyx, has also been very active since his last shed two weeks ago. I have tried to feed him twice since then but he doesn’t seem interested in food. He did the same thing last year around this time. I think his almost constant restlessness is due to it being breeding season. My guess is that he is preoccupied with seeking a mate and will eat when he’s hungry enough, or when breeding season is about over, which ever comes first.
I wouldn’t worry too much unless it still isn’t eating in a couple of weeks. I’ll let you know when mine starts feeding again.

Very Active After Shed It has taken a while but after rejecting two more F/T mice Onyx finally killed and ate a live mouse today. Maybe it took the addition of the chase and kill to stimulate his hunger.
