 AHHH!!!!

Hi guys,

I like my little Pueblan alot but he’s crazy! I’ve had him for a while now, but he still poops on me and won’t stay still like all my other "kids". Will he grow out of it? Are YOUR milks like this?

Thanx,

Tito

Hellooooooo..
How old is your pueblan?
I also have a pueblan milk snake he is a male and i think he is about 10 months old. I have only had him for a couple of months tho. My pueblan also musk’s and slashes on me, but i have been told that after handling them the musking should eventually stop, he is also pretty tame and settles down after a couple after a few seconds. I think it is down to how much they have been handled. Mine sees to hide a lot and he is really nosey he watches everything that i do when I’m handling him.

DUH!! My Pueblan Milksnake is terrified of being handled and it has musked me everytime and once even bit me and hung on (but it stopped doing that because it clearly had absolutely no effect whatsoever).
Slowly they settle down ... OK so I now use a kitchen washing up glove (Shhhh don’t tell anyone) because I got fed up of being covered in mess. I will win, it will get used to being handled. End!!
Eats well though and is very beautiful to behold. Which makes up for everything else.
This particular one seems more nervous than any other snake I have ever had.
Just letting you know they are individuals that do not come out of a crackerjack box of uniformly similar automatons.

I don’t have a snake "yet" I’ll have 1 pretty soon, so sometimes i go to different shops just to see and handle some of the snakes and most of the ones i handle are like that, but im guessing that’s because they’re nervous. Maybe your Pueblan isin’t emotionally attached yet. Give it some time and don’t rush it too much. Every snake develops at its own pace. Hope this helps.

Dont worry it will calm down in time.

It just thinks you are going to eat it so it is doing everything it can to stay alive.

 AHHH!!!!

Thank you all for the advice. I asked someone I know a bout it, and he told me his Pueblan calmed down after a while.
