Eastern milksnake? other than possible parasites and wild caught temperment, can any one think of any reasons why i shouldn’t catch one in my yard and keep it? Are they the same size as most milksnakes? around 3 feet? Does anyone know if an adult can be kept in a 40 gallon long tank?

Eastern milksnake?
Wild caught should be ok if its in good condition. Make sure you leave it alone its tank for a 5 or 6 days before handling or feeding,to let it get accustomed as it will probably be very nervous. It may take a very long time to calm down. If youre ok with that, then good luck to you. 40 gallon tank is fine.

Eastern milksnake? I don’t advise you to keep a wild caught eastern milk snake. I’m sure you can find a breeder on line and purchase one from them!
