I’m sure they will. If you want live plants you will have to use dirt or potting soil, I do not recommend using dirt of any kind, some people will, I wouldn’t

if you use plants,plastic ones are best,because they will dig them up milk snakes like to burrow,and plastic one you can wash,and if they climb on live ones the will crush them.some say news paper,some say corn cob,I use aspen on top of a little sand,sand holds heat,some say thats bad.but I wouldn’t use potting soil or any outside dirt
