ok so, i have kept herps.. my hole life... mostly geckos, bearded dragons, pythons, and colubrids, (no i didnt kill em all off, i still have them, and traded and sold a few) and im thinking of getting a monitor. originally i wantd a savannah, because i heard they can become very tame, and almost cat like. but after realizing that will have to devote my entire closet to this guy, and start breeding rats again (smelly stuff) i dont think i want to go that route, so im thinking of ackies, their way more epensive to buy but cage consideed its about even. so by what i have read so far it seems you can keep one in a 75 gallon or bigger its entie life. my question is how much do you have to feed them, and how "tame" do they become with regular handleing? and i’ll probably post this in the monitor forum to
