Don’t go with a peachie. Great monitors but they get big. I really like the caudo/gilleni crosses if you’re looking for a great pet that can be easily housed. They’re very active, fearless, and easy to care for. Here’s a picture of one next to a pure Caudo.
The Caudo has the dots. The cross is the one towards the bottom of the picture. A pure Caudo is about $1500, the cross is only about $300. I really think that they make a much less demanding captive than an Ackie. If you’d like me to take more pics of mine, let me know. |
