Social Monitors? Hello, Im going to be getting an ackie soon and I have been doing research on them and alot of people recomend getting a trio of ackies instead of just one. I have read that they are social to each other and need to be in small groups. However I have also read that keeping them in trios is more commonly done when people are trying to get a breeding pair. Now Im not going to be breeding them, but I just wanted some opinions of people who have had ackies, singles and in groups, and how it worked for them.

Social Monitors? I am not sure, but I have kept them both ways. It is hard to tell if they are happy alone. I have had a couple that had been kept alone that were more active and seemed happier when put together. One thing for sure is that they are much more interesting together, watching their interaction. Good luck, they are a great choise
