 V. indicus on Guam??

Hello all,

I’ve scheduled layovers in Guam on my way to and from Japan. The primary purpose of the layovers is to find and photo indicus. Unfortunately, time is very limited. On the first leg, I won’t arrive until after sunset. I’ll spend that night getting photos of Boiga, and possibly spotlight for resting indicus as well. On the return leg, I will arrive mid-afternoon; I’ll be focused on indicus.

Does anyone have pointers on a "best bet" locality for indicus, i.e. where they are both common AND fairly easy to find? I normally don’t like to ask for herping help, but given that I won’t have time to really scout any areas myself, I’d like to make the most of the short layovers.

Thanks for any help!

Shane

There’s a fella from Guam here who posts photos of indicus in the wild. His username is GT or Guam Turtle depending on which of the fora you are on.
