i have two ornate niles and i am guessing thay are both males. i got them when they were both hatchlings and now they are a little over a year old and pretty big. i hey came from the same batch at the pet shop but they look quite different so i had hopes they they might be different sexes. i think i may have seen hemipenes on both but i’m not sure. the one i suspect most of being the female is actually bigger and more aggre3ssive than the one i suspect of being the male. the big one is darker thinner longer bigger. has a longer head and thinner neck and slimmer body. the little one that i suspect of being the male. is sort of fat. his head seems kind of short almost like a white throat. the distance from his eyes to snout seems relatively short. his neck is fat. he’s a little friendlier and a lot less skiddish. his coloring is very brite. not much black and his yellows and oranges around the sides of his head and along his body are real cool. neither has had a clutch.
