 Your not going to belive what i caught!
Man i wish i had some pics. I just caugt a black throat monitor in my backyard. I think someone lost it but any ways it was in my backyard eatind a dead pigeon. I was coming from the gas station, and i saw it so i let my dogs go after it and scared him into my house becuas i had sliding doors. it was about 3 feet long and i am thinking about keeping it.

I can believe it, kids get these animals and think, "Wow, cool. I can’t wait til it kills something" Then the novelty wears off or they realize what they have is more than they can handle and go with the simple solution, let it go. It isn’t that rare to find monitors and iguanas roaming around Florida. If you can’t keep it tell me where if florida you are at and I will come get it or get you in contact with someone elase that will.Scott

You shouldn’t keep wild animals they are better off in the wild. Let it go because it probably has a family and you took it from it’s kids. HAHAHAHAHA I better stop. Anyway I wish I could find a monitor in my backyard. I did once but it was a baby nile and that doesn’t count I want to find an Ackie or a Lace. lolTony

First of all i do not abanden any animal,so i dont know what you talking about us waiting for it to kill something then when it becomes more than i can handle we let him go. I can handle alot of reptiles with out letting them go such as my 5ft long iguana that weighs 13lbs, also my red tegu thats around 15lbs and all of my other reptiles. I have space,money and plenty other stuff. ME and my brother pay about $35,00 this YEAR TAKING CARE OF ARE REPTILES,this includes caging,lighting,feeding and vet bills. HOME BOY!

Well Homeboy, If you can get your panties from bunching up and reread what I wrote, you will see I was talking about who ever let it go so you could find it. Wow, whole $35 dollars? I spent that much tonite just to feed 2 medium sized snakes and 3 juvie savs. You and your brother must have great jobs to spend that kind of money.Scott
