I think my sac is sick...:(  ok...i think that my female sav may be sick...she is aprrocimately 15-16 inches and she doesnt eat much or move 2 much...is it possible that it could be infected with parasites? please help me...

I think my savv is sick...:(  What are the signs of a savannah getting sick?? and also i have a quick question...kinda random but can a columbian black and white tegu be in the same cage with a savannah...cause the pet store that i bouht my savs at...they had col. B&W tegus and savvs in the same cage without any problems...

I think my savv is sick...:(  Mixing critters is not a good idea. They will do it at petstores by lowering the temps to keep the critters inactive. If I put my tegu with any of my monitors, someone will become food. My moneys on the monitors. My advice is to separate the animals. You just got them and they are probably stressed out and dehydrated. Make sure they both have good hot basking spots and a large water bowl. Your lizards are wild caught and have been through a lot and are more than likely dehydrated. A stressed and dehydrated lizard will not eat. This is why proper husbandry is so important, hot basking spots, proper substrates, proper diet, proper temps (hot and cool) and probably the most important part IMO is proper humidity. With any new animal , especially a wild caught one a vet check is in order. You can also call the pet store and tell them you are having problems. They probably won’t care but some pet stores are in need of return customers and like to keep a good reputation.Scott
